  • About the work:

    The ripples of American chestnut woodgrain, cut from a hand-hewn beam with raw edges recovered from an Amish barn built in the early 1800s, merges seamlessly with the autumn reflections of Cape Cod marshes.

    I choose the scene to recreate on each piece of wood based on the qualities and character of the wood itself. Work comes ready to hang with picture wire.
